Description
Responsible for providing support in the sales of specific product segments in given geographic market. Works in conjunction with and support of the sales efforts of the Account Manager/s in the territory in an effort to achieve assigned market share.
Job Requirements
1. Provides sales support to account managers in one or more marketing segments.2. Provides sales support to account managers with regard to fact finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, customer sales calls.3. Supports territorial sales efforts through the prospecting for new business in regards to supported product segment.4. Submits market share forecast and call reports to regional sales manager on monthly basis and is held accountable for the achievement of forecast.5. Participate in customer visits as requested. 6. Participate in the pursuit of new business opportunities and new markets, as necessary. 7. Coordinate orders with customer service.8. Provide unparalleled sales support by answering questions/resolving account manager/customer questions. 9. Provide supported account managers with competitive and technical data on a timely basis. 10. Accountable for all record keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications. 11. Other general and specified duties may be assigned, consistent with the company’s goals, objectives and interests.12. Travel required within designated region and/or to other Stryker events/locations. · Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required · Must possess excellent communication, and negotiation skills.· Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively.· Strong inter-personal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management and conflict management.· Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.· Must possess strong computer skills (PC/Network). Experience with Microsoft Office software preferred. - May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
- May be required to move equipment up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.
- Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
- Blood-borne Pathogen training, required.
