Description
Octagon is looking for Event Coordinators to assist with the launch of a major technology brand in and around San Antonio. The EC's will report to an in-market Account Manager and Account Executive and will implement entertainment, sports and lifestyle events throughout the market. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate.
The position will require individuals comfortable with engaging consumers in group and one-on-one demonstrations. NOTE: Although this is a temporary position, it requires full time hours (some holidays and weekend).
Job Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
On-site event operations and execution
Product demonstration
Extensive weekend and some holiday work
Advance site visits to ensure venues conform to program requirements
Event set-up and breakdown
Daily/weekly summaries and post-event reports
Other related duties/projects as assigned including assisting in the development of client deliverables
Required Qualifications:
Excellent commication skills, both written and oral
Bachelors Degree
Comfort and interest in new technology
Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and solve problems independently
Extremely organized with exceptional time-management skills
Must be able to deal effectively with all types of personalities
Needs to be able to illustrate the passion to work in event management
Comfortable speaking on a microphone
Upbeat and energetic personality a plus!
